World map and atlas index

REFERENCE DOSSIER · 4 MIN READ

An index or source catalog that may link several continuity layers. Follow the context in each linked record; inclusion in one guide does not merge those worlds.

Original Everterra relationships

The supplied original lore establishes Everterra rather than an assumed Faerûn placement. No complete world-scale Everterra map was supplied. Its measured relationships describe the particular campaign instance; they do not provide surveyed global coordinates.

RelationshipSource scope
Idlewood is a shallow valley settlement between ridges, near an eastern road.Reusable world and campaign bible.
Ninth Gate is at the northern edge of Darkwood against icebound mountains.Reusable world. No exact mileage to Idlewood provided.
Weller is about six miles northwest of Idlewood along a concealed logging track.Supplied instance. The world helper describes it more generally as several miles away, off the main road.
Annex Seven lies beneath Weller; its concealed emergency exit is about a quarter-mile away.Supplied instance. The world's Annex exists independently of player discovery.
The unknown hill-door is about four miles northwest of Weller near rocky stream terrain.Supplied instance. Its symbol is not initially recognized as standard Wayfarer.
Brenner Farm is near Bell's Crossing; Dagger Falls is a major town used to find Brogar.Supplied instance; no surveyed bearings or distances given.

Earlier local adaptation assets

The preserved image and relationships below belong to the older local adventure adaptation. They do not map Weller, Annex Seven, or the owner's Everterra world, and do not override the original lore's northern Ninth Gate location.

Coverage and limits

This folder records the campaign's local geography and indexes its available map assets. It is not a complete global atlas. The campaign sources do not establish where Idlewood lies in Faerûn, on Toril, or relative to a named continent or kingdom. No world-scale map with a verifiable placement is present in the checked local assets. Treat that placement as unknown until a source establishes it.

The player-facing regional map is schematic. Its orientation and drawn spacing do not supply a measured scale. The art places the farm toward the northwest and Crow Hollow toward the northeast/east; the campaign text says Crow Hollow is two miles north. Record this as an unresolved visual/text mismatch. The art is preserved byte-for-byte; it has not been edited or repositioned. Do not derive distances or coordinates from its pixels.

Local map relationships

RelationshipEvidenceConfidence / limitation
Crow Hollow is two miles north of Corvin Farm.Campaign book, “Idlewood Gazetteer” → “Crow Hollow.”Explicit distance and direction in text. The regional art is less precise and appears northeast/east; use the text for the relationship and retain the mismatch note above.
Corvin Farm is a 40-acre property on a western rise; its foundation mechanism is beneath the eastern orchard.Campaign book, “Idlewood Gazetteer” → “Corvin Farm.”Explicit acreage and within-property relationship; no surveyed coordinates or dimensions.
The eastern boundary has standing stones, a ruined watchtower, split road, and buried lock.Campaign book, “Idlewood Gazetteer” → “Eastern Boundary.”Qualitative description; no distance from farm or village stated.
The road east from the campaign area crosses whisper marsh and drowned corduroy roads to the Ninth Gate.Campaign book, “Idlewood Gazetteer” → “Darkwood and the Ninth Gate.”Route description, not a precise polyline or bearing.
The Chapter 8 journey to the Ninth Gate is 24 miles and normally takes two days.Campaign book, Chapter 8, “Travel procedure.”Explicit journey distance and ordinary duration. The chapter starts with a quarry-as-road-encounter framing; the text does not define exact endpoints sufficiently to claim the distance is specifically farm-to-gate.
The Ninth Gate's missing tower-shadow points toward Idlewood.Campaign book, “Darkwood and the Ninth Gate.”Fictional directional clue; not a bearing or surveyed map coordinate.
Idlewood stands over the displaced First Gate, buried below what became Corvin Farm.Campaign book, campaign premise and Chapter 4 revelations.Explicit underground/worldbuilding relationship; no surface coordinate.

No distances are supplied here for Idlewood Village, the quarry, the boundary, or the orchard relative to each other. Do not infer those from tactical map images or the schematic regional artwork.
