World lore: The creation helper establishes that ancient constructed beings may differ by maker, era, design, identity, memory, duty, and authorization. A construct may be sentient; discovery or repair does not make it property. The label “sentry” alone does not settle this being's full origin or identity.
Day 17 instance: The First Sentry had been inactive for about 23 years and reawakened with a component carried by Mara Venn. It recognized Edren as an authorized auxiliary and the player character as a temporary successor authority while Edren's credential was presented. Later it was hidden at Idlewood as a final defense after the transit array was sealed. These observed authorization responses are instance facts and do not establish ownership or universal control. The source does not specify its exact location within Idlewood.
