Role: Damaged constructed being from an unknown hill site northwest of Weller. World lore: Ancient constructs may have different makers and identities. The hill entrance bears a symbol not initially recognized as standard Wayfarer, establishing that buried sites do not all belong neatly to one known civilization or faction. A sentient construct is not automatically property.
Day 17 instance: Garr found the White-eyed construct roughly four miles northwest of Weller after it emerged from an unknown hill door. The Hook pursued it, and Brogar stabilized it. It previously carried a paired credential, now missing, and says Ninth Gate took it. It reports that Ninth Gate excavated beneath northern works, opened an older passage, and that Gate personnel plus “others” are coming south; not all movement uses transit. The source gives neither its current precise location nor consent to any owner or controller.
