Version / correction: Earlier local adaptation based on Darkling: Idlewood. Preserve the sourced quarry and boundary details below as that adaptation's record. They do not establish Everterra locations or connect to its Ninth Gate. See Everterra regional records.

Eastern Quarry

The campaign book describes abandoned slate terraces descending around a flooded pit, with rusted lifting gear, powder sheds, switchbacks, and an old mine tunnel. The party's accepted Chapter 4 event staged the Crown dead here and fired the red flare at 12:25, drawing the riders toward the Ninth Gate. The campaign log records the signal and its immediate response; the scene does not establish a permanent route or an exact distance from Idlewood.

The table expansion adds possible traces and props such as a shipping slate bearing Corvin's initials and routes between the quarry and Crow Hollow. These are chapter preparation details and should be introduced only if play establishes them.

Eastern Boundary

The boundary is described as a ruined watchtower overlooking standing stones and a split road. Corvin buried the three-tower lock beneath an ash tree; roots have grown through older gatehouse masonry. The campaign book establishes the stone's function as a lock in its hidden story. The accepted current checkpoint contains Seraph's warning about that lock; the later excavation, confrontation with Maelin Thorne, and discovery of a stair are not yet accepted events.

The expansion describes further possible watchtower details, including yearly marks and a signal mirror. Those are preparation for Chapter 6, not settled facts of the played scene.

Map record

The asset manifest lists eastern-quarry at 48 by 32 and eastern-boundary at 42 by 28 five-foot squares. Those are tactical scene presets and do not establish regional scale, direction beyond the source's descriptions, or travel duration.
