Day 17 campaign continuity

The supplied Continuum document ends on Day 17, at night in the Darkwood. The halfling player character, Hugo, Garr, and Eve have gone north. Seraph remains at Idlewood coordinating continuity and defense. Garr is reconstructing the brothers' former escape route from the Ninth Gate; the camp is near an old landmark, perhaps a couple of hours from where he believes the cavern mouth may have been. That entrance has not yet been confirmed.

Horses were left in a concealed location with water and grazing after the terrain became unsuitable. A long rest with rotating watches is underway. A massive scarred wolf investigated the camp and withdrew after the player intimidated it without firing; Garr woke and remained silent. Daylight continuation is a likely next objective, not an action already chosen.

Established instance consequences

• Captain Veyr was killed by the player after his inflated levy, skimming, and Hook contact were uncovered. Crown investigators are auditing his accounts; the forged delivery may still be exposed.
• The Hook has intensified pursuit of the player after Edren's death and losses among its contacts and personnel. Its reported preference is capture alive, with killing possible.
• Annex Seven has become the coalition's hidden logistics base; water and sentries have been restored in this instance.
• The first Sentry is retained at Idlewood for defense. Idlewood's transit array has been sealed locally.
• A white-eyed construct reported that Ninth Gate took its paired credential and opened an older northern passage. Its report is attributed testimony; the identities and purposes of the others coming south remain unresolved.
• Eve has cached Edren's administrative credential at an unknown location. Knowing that she cached it does not reveal its coordinates.

Unconfirmed current positions

Before reintroducing Vale, Mara, Calder, the rescued boy, prisoners, or mobile coalition assets, their exact current positions and conditions need confirmation. The source expressly leaves those unresolved. Distant events become character knowledge through plausible information, not automatically.
