Read-only audit of the owner-visible Roll20 campaigns checked on 2026-10-04. This file records what the source material shows; it does not infer missing faction histories.
The 9th Gate - Saturday
Journal paths visible in the campaign:
GM Stufff > 9th lore > 9th RolesGM Stufff > 9th lore > THE NINTH GATE — PLACES WITHIN THE GATEGM Stufff > 9th lore > NPCs > Lvl 1(character entries)LORE AND MORE > World LoreLORE AND MORE > THE NINTH GATE — THE CELL BLOCK
The visible Journal tree contained no folder or entry titled Trial, Wayfarers, the Hook, or King Canaan's Crown. The complete readable World Lore handout transcribed in WORLD-LORE.md mentions “the crown” generically (“Most people do not love the crown.”) and describes King Canaan’s rule, but does not name a Crown faction. 9th Roles mentions Overseer Halbrecht being appointed under King Canaan’s authority; it does not name a Crown faction. The readable lore handouts do not mention Trial, Wayfarers, or the Hook.
The 9th Gate - Sunday

Oiro Gaiquiientry appeared beneath the 9th lore material but opened without readable body text.
The readable Sunday World Lore and Ninth Gate handouts repeat the same material as Saturday; no faction details for the requested names appeared in their readable text. Mysterious Note opened with its “GM Notes (Only visible to GM)” heading and no body text. The campaign page description under My Games > The 9th Gate - Sunday describes the Ice Mountains, Tortured Lands, Border Forest, dwarven holds, elven forests, and King Canaan’s expansion into human lands. It does not name Trial, Wayfarers, the Hook, or a Crown faction.
Campaign-name ambiguity and access limits
My Games listed The 9th Gate - Saturday, The 9th Gate - Sunday, The 9th Gate - Online Solo Mind Quest, and TEMP. No campaign titled Trial appeared in that current list. Online Solo Mind Quest and TEMP displayed Restore Game; neither was restored or inspected further. Trial/? may therefore be a different campaign/name or uncertain spelling; the checked active campaigns do not resolve that ambiguity.
These findings mean only that the names and faction lore were not present in the readable campaign pages/handouts listed above. They do not establish that such factions do not exist in another campaign, an unreadable GM-only section, or an archived game.
