Bell's Crossing is a regional trade and waystation area useful for Crown records, warehouses, merchants, travelers, information, and meetings. It is never automatically neutral: Crown personnel, Hook contacts, and ordinary commerce may operate side by side. The sources give no population, exact location, or surveyed road distances.
Day 17 Continuum instance
In this instance, Captain Veyr used the area to store excess collections in a location recorded as R — Rear Hold and sold information to the Hook. The PC infiltrated the waystation, studied its routine, accessed the ledger, forged an Idlewood delivery entry, and helped carry out a covered-wagon substitution. The returned records showed Idlewood's levy paid, while Veyr's stores were moved to Idlewood in the operation.
Veyr later searched Idlewood and found an old Vale receipt. Crown investigators subsequently found suspicious property and accounts and began an audit. A deeper audit could still expose the forged delivery. These facts describe this instance and do not make every Bell's Crossing warehouse part of the coalition or establish its current stock.
