Reusable Everterra world layer
Darkwood is ancient, dangerous, and unpredictable wilderness. Garr has an established strange or natural affinity with it. The creation source provides no full boundary survey, settlement list, or mapped route network. Its northern edge meets icebound mountains near Ninth Gate.
Day 17 Continuum instance
The current party—PC, Hugo, and Garr, with Eve—camped near an old landmark on the brothers' former escape route. Garr thought the old cavern mouth might be a couple of hours away. Horses had been left earlier at a concealed place with water and grazing because the terrain had become unsuitable.
Garr recognized Ninth Gate issue boot tracks continuing north with drag marks. The group avoided an armed stranger camp and Garr recognized old landmarks. During the PC's watch, a large scarred wolf approached; the PC intimidated it without firing, Garr woke silently, and the wolf withdrew. This encounter ended without combat. These are events from this instance, not standard Darkwood encounters.
At the snapshot, the likely next objective was to continue at daylight toward the old escape route and investigate the northern passage. That is a recorded intention, not a completed journey.
