World systems
An index or source catalog that may link several continuity layers. Follow the context in each linked record; inclusion in one guide does not merge those worlds.
On this page
Start with Everterra everyday life and institutions for the owner's original campaign world. The earlier local and published-reference records below retain their source context; they do not fill in missing original-world facts.
This folder records calendars, languages, institutions, ordinary livelihoods, ecology, and resources. Idlewood facts are kept separate from published D&D reference and from unresolved choices. Nothing here adds play rules or resource conversions.
Records
- Calendar and time — source schedule and the absence of an adopted local date.
- Languages — language names in the bundled SRD and what Idlewood establishes.
- Institutions and law — inheritance, civic roles, records, and Crown structures.
- Resources and everyday life — known land use, holdings, stores, and ledger caveats.
- Beings and ecology — named animals, landscape, and supernatural manifestations.
Reading convention
“Established” means stated in the current local campaign sources. “Published reference” is information from a named D&D/Forgotten Realms source; it does not prove Idlewood follows it. Unknown measures, customs, and dates remain unknown. Campaign plot possibilities are identified as such.
Sources
The detailed local references and source list are in world-lore/SOURCES.md. Core local texts: campaign book, table expansion, campaign records, settlement seed data, and bundled SRD language data.
