Campaign factions and organized groups
An index or source catalog that may link several continuity layers. Follow the context in each linked record; inclusion in one guide does not merge those worlds.
On this page
Records for the campaign's factions, political bodies, specialist roles, and other collective actors. These dossiers draw on the owner's campaign-world helper and the campaign continuum, and separate reusable world canon from outcomes of its current player run.
Campaign groups
- King Canaan's Crown — Everterra's broad sovereign system and its effects on ordinary life.
- Wayfarers and the old network — an ancient tradition/infrastructure association; organization-versus-title remains deliberately ambiguous.
- The Hook — compartmentalized organization searching for credentials, sites, records, and knowledgeable people.
- Keepers — descriptive label for people who protected network knowledge/access; formal organization not established.
- Watchers — Hook specialist role involving surveillance; specific methods and presence vary by instance.
Other local institutions and communities
- Office of Gates — secret royal program from the earlier/local campaign-book adaptation; not universal Everterra canon.
- Ninth Gate administration — earlier/local adaptation's institutional roles, facilities, and responsibilities.
- Idlewood residents and council — residents and the campaign's ad hoc civic decision process; not a unified political faction.
- Corvin Marrow household and farm heirs — a family/landholding household, not an established faction in the Everterra helper.
Source boundaries
Primary reusable sources are the creation-agent world helper and campaign continuum. The continuum also records one player's mutable state and events. Dossier sections marked Current-instance evidence document those events without making them default starting conditions. The helper's creation rule is to create the conditions that make outcomes possible, not the outcomes.
Earlier/local adaptation records include the campaign book, campaign records, and Roll20 world lore. Keep those details labeled as adaptation-specific when they differ from or go beyond Everterra canon. Population values in the campaign book and settlement ledger remain distinct recorded values; this index does not reconcile them.
Published Forgotten Realms factions are on the separate D&D faction reference shelf. Their reference entries do not establish them as members of this campaign roster.
