Idlewood / Everterra NPC roster

REFERENCE DOSSIER · 4 MIN READ

An index or source catalog that may link several continuity layers. Follow the context in each linked record; inclusion in one guide does not merge those worlds.

On this page

This folder includes two separate continuity layers: reusable Everterra world lore from the campaign bible and creation helper, and NPCs from an earlier local Idlewood adaptation plus its Roll20 handouts. Do not merge people who merely share a first name or treat the earlier adaptation's events as Everterra history. For the new campaign, world facts and reusable possibilities are separate from events unique to the Day 17 instance. Original sources are preserved in ChatGPT lore sources. These dossiers omit player mechanics and stat blocks.

Everterra world lore

Day 17 campaign-instance facts

These are facts about one recorded playthrough, not default world setup. Captain Veyr was killed by the player character in that instance. The First Sentry was reawakened and left at Idlewood as a final defense; the Heavy Sentry and two repaired Light Sentries are operational at Annex Seven. Preserve their exact physical positions before any transfer. The White-eyed construct was stabilized by Brogar and reports that Ninth Gate took its paired credential. Its current precise location is unspecified. Do not apply these outcomes to a fresh world.

Edren's dark-metal credential is cached by Eve at an unknown location in the Day 17 instance; it is an administrative credential, not a default starting item. See Edren.

Earlier local Idlewood adaptation

The existing campaign-book NPCs and events below belong to a separate earlier continuity, not Everterra canon. In particular, Edrin Coalhand is not Edren, Mara Vale is not Mara Venn, and Captain Orlan Vance is not Captain Veyr. No aliases or shared identities are established.

Accepted checkpoint in that earlier adaptation

The accepted play checkpoint is shortly after 1 p.m. at Crow Hollow. Oris Dane, Pellin Ro, and Kes are alive there. Captain Orlan Vance and his unnamed watch hound are dead. The hound is mentioned here for continuity but has no separate dossier because the sources do not name it. The remaining outcomes past the quarry diversion are unresolved. See accepted continuity.

The earlier adaptation's local cast includes Corvin Marrow, Mara Vale, Brother Pell, Edrin Coalhand, Reeve Alis Fen, Noma Reed, Scholar Wren, and Maelin Thorne. The checkpoint does not establish every character's present whereabouts or every possible scene outcome.

Prepared later chapter figures in that earlier adaptation

These people occur in future, optional, or conditional chapter material. Listing them does not mean they have appeared or that their described events occurred in accepted play.

Ninth Gate handout personnel from that earlier adaptation

The Roll20 transcription names institutional personnel and King Canaan. Its contents describe roles and GM-facing motives, not events at the current checkpoint. The examiner's name is spelled Vos in the inspected source set; no alias is inferred.

Overseer HalbrechtInstitutional legitimacy and transfer/review paperwork.
Examiner VosInterview and classification role in the handout.

Source and status conventions

“Accepted checkpoint” means the accepted local play record establishes that status. “Established campaign material” describes the book's setting or cast without claiming that every scene has occurred. “Prepared” means the expansion proposes a future or conditional appearance. “Unknown” means these inspected sources do not settle the fact. Roll20 handout claims retain their source context and are not silently promoted into accepted play.
